Aakash Sridhar is a pianist from Bangalore, India in pursuit of expressing honest emotions through unique, fresh, and captivating melodies in these unpredictable times. He strives to  to create musical narratives in his improvisation, while capturing a truthful expression in every note he plays.

As an educator he has held a professorship at the prestigious Swarnabhoomi Academy of Music in Chennai, and as a performer he has been a bandleader and sideman for artists across  venues in India, Boston and Dallas.

Currently he is being mentored by Dave Meder at the University of North Texas, who is one of the prominent artists of his generation, while also serving as a Graduate Teaching Assistant for higher level improvisation classes.
